Apple (AAPL.US)      China's official website indicated that the Apple Store at Parkland Mall in Dalian will cease operations starting at 8 pm on 9 August 2025, marking the first retail store closure in China.

The company is committed to providing an excellent experience for all customers in the Greater China region, Apple issued a statement saying. However, due to the departure of several retailers from the Parkland Mall, the company has decided to close its store in the mall.

The Parkland Mall store is one of the two Apple stores in Dalian, with the other store remaining operational. The company added that employees from the soon-to-be-closed store will have opportunities to work elsewhere.
