A symposium for heads of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) was held in Beijing. The meeting underscored the work for 2H25, focusing on strengthening core capabilities, value creation, safety assurance, and industry governance.

Key tasks include consolidating the comprehensive rectification achievements of the "involution" competition in the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry, reinforcing governance in key industries such as photovoltaics, and using standards to phase out outdated production capacities; enhancing the management of recycling and utilization of NEV power batteries and lithium-ion batteries for electric bicycles.
