US-China trade negotiations to be held today (28th) in Stockholm, Sweden, are expected to extend the tariff truce period by 90 days, originally set to expire on 12 August, the South China Morning Post quoted sources as saying.

Both parties will refrain from introducing new tariffs or taking any actions that could escalate the trade war during the truce period, the report added. The Chinese delegation will also pressure the US regarding fentanyl tariffs.
