Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA (NVDA.US)      , visited China for the third time this year. During an interview with the media in Beijing, he stated that DeepSeek is a new type of AI foundation model because it can think deeply multiple times and complete tasks at a very fast speed.

He described DeepSeek as a new revolution in AI models, as it is not limited to memorizing information but can also gradually break down problems and think quickly. It is also the world's first open-source AI inference model.

Huang also described the development of China's AI as dynamic, noting that AI supports platforms like TENCENT (0700.HK) and others in China. Models from DeepSeek, BABA-W (09988.HK)  -0.800 (-0.703%)    Short selling $653.05M; Ratio 13.741%   (BABA.US)      , and TENCENT are all world-class and developed in China, he said, viewing that AI has now become infrastructure, like electricity.
