The HSI closed at a closing high of 24,590, up 386 points or 1.6%. The HSCEI climbed 144 points or 1.7% to 8,877. The HSTECH jumped up 147 points or 2.8% to close at 5,431. Total market turnover for the day amounted to $288.4 billion.
