Taobao Instant Commerce's 50-billion-yuan platform consumption vouchers propelled night orders in multiple cities such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Jinan to mushroom more than 2x since July, with night orders in over 640,000 stores nationwide swelling by more than 1x MoM, Sina Tech reported.

Since July, weekend night snack orders in T1 cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen doubled from the previous month. Night orders in popular summer tourist cities such as Jinan, Xi'an, Quanzhou, Qingdao, Chengdu, and Guiyang also shot up by more than 1.5x MoM.
