SINOTRANS (00598.HK)  +0.050 (+1.263%)    Short selling $5.15M; Ratio 11.715%   announced that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary China Merchants Shipping, CITIC Capital Maneuver, and FV Pallet, had sold 25%, 3%, and 2% stakes in Loscam International to MIC Industrial Investments 4 RSC under Abu Dhabi's sovereign wealth fund Mubadala Investment Company PJSC.

In particular, the consideration for the 25% equity interests sold by China Merchants Shipping was USD472 million. Upon completion of the disposal, SINOTRANS' indirect equity interests in Loscam International through China Merchants Shipping will be reduced from 45% to 20%, and Loscam International will continue to be an associate of SINOTRANS.

SINOTRANS is expected to record a gain of around RMB1.793 billion from the disposal, with expected cash inflows of around RMB4.442 billion.
