Chinese media reported last month that JD-SW (09618.HK)  -1.600 (-1.218%)    Short selling $1.13B; Ratio 36.038%   's JD 360 had filed multiple trademark applications for "Joyrobotaxi" with statuses all being "awaiting substantive examination. It is suspected that the company is planning to foray into the autonomous taxi sector.

According to today's (13th) announcement from the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Department, the company also applied for a series of trademarks, "JoyTaxi", "JOYTAXI", and "joytaxi", in Hong Kong in May, with the status listed as "Notice of Application Published".
