In response to the "Initiative of Safeguarding Fair Competition and Promoting Healthy Industry Development" recently released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has voiced its support, according to The Paper.

The ministry stated that it will intensify efforts to address "involutionary" competition in the auto sector and uphold a fair and orderly market environment.
