The losses in XIAOMI-W (01810.HK)  -1.150 (-2.120%)    Short selling $721.80M; Ratio 10.812%   's automotive business are tapering off, said Lei Jun, founder of XIAOMI-W, at the Xiaomi Investor Conference, anticipating to achieve profit in 3-4Q25.

He also mentioned that the latest Xiaomi YU7's price will not be the rumored RMB235,900, and the official pricing will be confirmed 1-2 days prior to launch.

The company has allocated a total budget of RMB3.5 billion for intelligent driving R&D in the YU7, positioning its overall investment at a leading level in the industry.

Lei noted that XIAOMI-W started investing in the robotics field five years ago, and the automotive plant is testing related capabilities. Xiaomi's auto chips are under development, being expected to be launched soon.
