The "Technology Enterprises Channel" jointly launched by HKEX (00388.HK)  -4.600 (-1.149%)    Short selling $337.76M; Ratio 14.034%   and the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) earlier this month has received an enthusiastic market response, with HKEX handling an immense number of inquiries, achieving the expected impact, said Joseph Chan, Acting Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury.

HKEX and SFC are pushing ahead the optimization of the listing regime, including reviewing specific requirements for primary, secondary, and dual primary listings, as well as post-listing regulatory mechanisms, Chan added.

These efforts are primed to streamline approval rules for companies listing in Hong Kong, enhancing the vitality, competitiveness, and resilience of the Hong Kong listing platform.
