Goldman Sachs issued a research report lowering its 2025-2027 adjusted net profit forecasts for PDD Holdings (PDD.US)      by 24%/ 13%/ 8% on the Company's commitment to reinvest in user experience and merchant assistance to drive a healthier development of platform ecosystem.

The broker also chopped its target price to US$131 from US$152, and forecasted PDD Holdings' domestic platform EBIT margin to drop sharply to 49% in FY2026, from 64% in FY2024.

Goldman Sachs currently predicted PDD Holdings' 2025/ 2026 overall adjusted net profit to reach RMB96 billion/ RMB140 billion, and kept rating at Buy as it believed that there may be room for a re-rating in valuation with declined high profit base impact in 2H25.
