GDS-SW (09698.HK)  -1.650 (-6.522%)    Short selling $81.16M; Ratio 24.410%   opened 7.3% lower today (28th) and once sank to a bottom of HKD24.2. It last traded at HKD24.7, down 10.18%, on a volume of 12.6629 million shares, involving HKD315 million.

Before the market opened this morning, GDS-SW announced plans to issue USD450 million in convertible senior notes due 2032. The company is expected to grant the initial purchasers an option to purchase up to an additional USD50 million in aggregate principal amount of the notes.

In addition, the company intends to launch an underwritten registered public offering of 5.2 million ADSs in the US. Underwriters will have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 780,000 ADSs. The net proceeds are expected to be around USD123 million.
