Luo Wen, head of the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), emphasized the necessity for China to strike a balance between efficiency and fairness, implement policies and measures for the further development of the private economy, ramp up anti-monopoly and anti-unfair competition efforts, and deepen the construction of a unified national market.

Efforts should also be made to balance vitality and order, speed up institutional and policy innovation, strictly regulate law enforcement and regulatory activities involving enterprises, and vigorously advance comprehensive governance of market order, Luo added.
