China's unemployment rate for workers aged 16- 24 in urban areas nationwide, excluding students at schools, fell to 15.8% in April, down 0.7 ppts from March, representing a decline for 2 consecutive months, and logging a 4-month new low, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

The unemployment rate of workers aged 25-29 excluding students at schools dropped to 7.1%, while that of those aged 30-59 decreased to 4%, both declining by 0.1 ppt.
