NVIDIA (NVDA.US)      announced on Monday its plan to sell a chip connectivity technology that will allow customers and partners to integrate non-NVIDIA CPUs and GPUs with NVIDIA's products and NVLink. This aims to accelerate the inter-chip communication necessary for building and deploying AI tools.

NVIDIA introduced a new version of its NVLink technology, NVLink Fusion, which will be sold to other chip designers to facilitate construction of powerful customized AI systems by connecting multiple chips together.
