Despite the recent China-U.S. agreement sharply cutting tariffs on most goods to 30%, small-value parcels shipped from China to the U.S. are not included in this tariff relief, foreign media cited people with the knowledge of the matter.

On April 2, U.S. President Donald Trump had stated that small-value parcels valued under USD800 purchased by U.S. consumers from mainland China and Hong Kong e-commerce platforms would face tariffs as high as 120%.
