In response to recent claims by the US that China is struggling to withstand the tremendous tariff pressure, Lin Jian, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman, stated at a regular press conference that no external impact can alter China's fundamentals of solid economic foundation, numerous advantages, strong resilience, and vast potential or change the steady momentum of the country's high-quality development.

China possesses sturdy resilience and ample measures to safeguard its legitimate rights and interests, Lin emphasized. It is also willing to work together with the international community to jointly resist unilateralism, protectionism, and economic bullying, while upholding the multilateral trading system and defending international fairness and justice.
