The number of A-share companies seeking listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx) continues to grow, according to Securities Daily. From April 22 to 28, eight A-share companies submitted listing applications to HKEx.

As of May 5, 46 A-share companies are planning to list in Hong Kong, with seven having received notices from the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) for filing of overseas issuance and listing.

Most A-share companies aiming for Hong Kong listings are from the consumption and technology sectors, including HAITIAN FLAVOURING (603288.SH)  +1.040 (+2.489%)   , EASTROC BEVERAGE (605499.SH)  -0.100 (-0.036%)   , CATL (300750.SZ)  +4.530 (+1.956%)   , and LENS TECHNOLOGY (300433.SZ)  -0.510 (-2.372%)   .

Besides, A-share companies in the semiconductor supply chain are increasingly pursuing Hong Kong listings, such as LONGSYS (301308.SZ)  -0.650 (-0.812%)   in storage, NOVOSENSE (688052.SH)  -8.050 (-4.248%)   in high-performance integrated circuit chip design, and FIBOCOM (300638.SZ)  -0.510 (-1.777%)   in wireless communication modules and solutions.
