The latest data from Ele.me revealed that the full rollout of Taobao Instant Commerce immensely boosted logistics order volumes across China.

Within 48 hours of the full launch, 13 cities, including Nanning, Guiyang, Zhongshan, Putian, and Sanya, saw daily logistics orders surpass historical peaks.

Separately, Taobao Instant Commerce, in collaboration with Ele.me, introduced major consumer incentives such as free order coupons, free milk tea, and large discount vouchers for takeaway.

These promotions directly fueled a spike in orders for tea and coffee merchants during the May Day holiday. According to Ele.me, within 24 hours of Taobao Instant Commerce’s full rollout, COTTI COFFEE’s sales soared to the top of the platform’s coffee category, with orders swelling nearly 10x compared to regular days.
