The Public Security Police Force of Macau (CPSP) announced that, on the first day (1 May) of China's May Day Golden Week holiday, Macau recorded a passenger traffic of 731,000 at various control points for the day, according to Radio Macau (TDM).

Of which, more than 333,000 were passengers and over 176,000 were inbound travelers, with the majority of them travelling through the Border Gate, Hengqin Port and Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge.
