US President Donald Trump announced a 90-day tariff pause on non-retaliatory countries, and an immediate tariff hike on China to 125%. Trump said Chinese President Xi Jinping is a smart guy, and believed that the two countries will eventually reach a very good agreement.

Trump emphasized that he would be willing to consider a conversation with Xi, and believed that China is not taking advantage of the US. He thought investing in the US would be the greatest investment.
