LI AUTO-W (02015.HK) held its Livis Day Software and Embodied Intelligence Launch Event yesterday (15th). Chairman and CEO Li Xiang stated that today’s smartphones and smart vehicles are not truly intelligent, as they remain essentially “function-driven” rather than life-like intelligent agents. He noted that the three most important dimensions of intelligent vehicles are safety, capability and efficiency.

He pointed out that LI AUTO-W defines an embodied intelligent vehicle as “four-in-one”: an electric vehicle (EV), a professional driver, an AI computer and a life assistant. The EV and AI computer represent the “body”, while the professional driver and life assistant represent the “intelligence”. He added that over the past decade, LI AUTO-W created a mobile home, and in the next decade, the group will imbue both vehicles and homes with life.

Zhan Kun, Head of Foundation Model at LI AUTO-W, said Mach VLA capabilities will continue to evolve in 2H26. In 3Q26, AD Max will roll out a new Mach VLA model, and in 4Q26 it is expected to benchmark the capabilities of Tesla, Inc. (TSLA.US) FSD V14.

Li Xiang also announced the OTA plan for Livis models. In 2026, the Livis embodied intelligence system will reach growth milestones in July, September and December. The July update will focus on a “30% overall improvement in intelligent driving efficiency”; September’s theme is “reverse like a human”; and December’s theme is “safety and efficiency surpass humans”.
