The HSI ended the day up 37 points or 0.2% at 24,788. The HSCEI fell 24 points or 0.3%, closing at 8,374. The HSTECH dropped 40 points or 0.9% to close at 4,649. The total market turnover for the day amounted to HKD255.76 billion.

JD-SW (09618.HK) rose 0.2%. It plans to issue CNY-denominated senior notes. BABA-W (09988.HK) shed 1.2%. Its newly launched full-modality large model, Qwen3.5-Omni, claimed to surpass Gemini-3.1 Pro in several indicators.

Among other tech stocks, TENCENT (00700.HK) inched up 0.5%. MEITUAN-W (03690.HK), BILIBILI-W (09626.HK), and NTES-S (09999.HK) fell 1.1-1.5%. KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) and BIDU-SW (09888.HK) added 0.2% and 0.1%. AI stocks KNOWLEDGE ATLAS (02513.HK) and MINIMAX-W (00100.HK) plunged 5.5% and 8.3%. INSILICO (03696.HK) eroded 4.6%. Cloud service providers KINGSOFT CLOUD (03896.HK) and GDS-SW (09698.HK) faded 4.7% and 4.5%.

In the pharmaceutical sector, HANSOH PHARMA (03692.HK) leaped 7.3%. Citi praised it following its results announcement. 3SBIO (01530.HK) retreated 6.8%, despite its full-year net profit growing 3.06 times. WUXI BIO (02269.HK) and LUYE PHARMA (02186.HK) rallied 5.3% and 3.7%. REMEGEN (09995.HK) slipped 3.1%.

BANK OF CHINA (03988.HK) advanced 1.6% on a 2.2% increase in full-year net profit. BOC HONG KONG (02388.HK) also leaped 5.6%. It not only increased its full-year dividend distribution but also announced a three-year shareholder return plan framework for interim results. ABC (01288.HK) shot up 3.1%. It reported a 3.2% increase in full-year net profit and lifted the final dividend distribution. MINSHENG BANK (01988.HK) plummeted 4.7%, mirroring the 5.4% decline in its full-year net profit. MIDEA GROUP (00300.HK) rocketed 6.8% on a 14% increase in full-year net profit.
