US President Donald Trump announced on Monday that negotiations between the US and Iran went swimmingly, and the US will suspend attacks on Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure. US bourse bounced back drastically Monday, with the DJIA surging over 1,000 points at one point, closing up 631 points or 1.4% at 46,208. The S&P 500 finished up 74 points or 1.2% at 6,581. The Nasdaq settled 299 points or 1.4% higher at 21,946. Cyclical stocks such as industrials and banks soared, with Morgan Stanley (MS.US) and JP Morgan (JPM.US) up 1-2%, and construction equipment stock Caterpillar (CAT.US) up 3%. Techs also rebounded, with NVIDIA (NVDA.US) rising over 1%, and Apple (AAPL.US) growing over 1% after announcing that WWDC26 will be held on June 8.
