ZIJIN MINING (02899.HK) opened 5.44% lower today and once bottomed at HKD32.36. It last traded at HKD32.36, down 5.44%, with a volume of 4.4986 million shares, involving HKD150 million. The company has announced the acquisition of around 12.73% of CHIFENG GOLD (06693.HK) for a total consideration of RMB10.006 billion. Meanwhile, CHIFENG GOLD will place about 311 million new H-shares to Zijin Gold at a subscription price of HKD30.19 per share, a discount of about 28.3% to last Wednesday (18th).
