Zhang Yuzhuo, Party Secretary and Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council, chaired a thematic joint study on "AI+". He stated the need to strengthen overall coordination and prepare a comprehensive "15th Five-Year Plan" for the development of the AI industry within central state-owned enterprises (SOEs). This includes stepping up efforts, reinforcing safety governance capabilities, and balancing development with security, the Director said. There is a need to enhance innovation-driven approaches, continuously improve the resilience of the industrial chain, accelerate institutional and mechanism reforms, and build a safe and reliable AI industry foundation.
