Howard Lutnick, US Commerce Secretary, stated during a congressional hearing that AI chip maker Nvidia (NVDA.US) must comply with the licensing terms for its H200 chip sale to China, according to foreign media reports.

When asked whether he believed China would comply with the usage restrictions on the H200 chips, Lutnick said the complex US-China relations were managed by President Donald Trump and the Secretary of State, and the authorities would follow their guidance and instructions.
