HSBC Global Investment Research released its investment outlook report for the Asian markets, focusing this year on India and some ASEAN markets. The report advised against solely focusing on AI concept stocks that dominated the market in 2025.

The broker forecast that the Chinese market remains a "confidence story", now underpinned by corporate earnings growth. It recommended Overweight positions in mainland China, Hong Kong, India, and Indonesia markets; and upgraded Singapore and Japan from Underweight to Neutral.
