JD.com Reportedly Discusses Possible Acquisition of Fnac Darty Stake with French Ministry of Economy

JD.com (JD.US)(09618.HK) previously proposed a EUR2.2 billion acquisition of Germany's Ceconomy, according to foreign media. If approved, JD.com would acquire Ceconomy's 22% stake in French e-commerce company, Fnac Darty, attracting the attention of the French Ministry of Economy.

JD.com's leadership has met with officials from the French Ministry of Economy emphasizing the company's intention to fully comply with French regulations and that there are no plans to further increase its stake in Fnac Darty, the report quoted sources as saying.
