Prosus, a subsidiary of Naspers, TENCENT (00700.HK)'s substantial South African shareholder, said that it anticipates a substantial increase in interim profits, driven by its growing e-commerce operations and higher value of its stake in TENCENT. Prosus estimated that core EPS from continuing operations for the first half of the fiscal year ended September will grow by 20-29% YoY. Prosus will announce its interim results on 24 November.
