BRIGHT SMART (01428.HK) and the offeror Wealthiness and Prosperity Holding Limited jointly announced that, as the Long Stop Date for the offer regarding Ant's investment in BRIGHT SMART (i.e. 25 November) is approaching, the remaining completion conditions may not be satisfied on or before the Long Stop Date. The offeror is considering potential extension of the Long Stop Date. The offeror has been actively engaging with relevant authorities, with a view to satisfying completion condition as soon as possible, according to the announcement. Today (12th), BRIGHT SMART opened 4.02% lower, and bottomed at $8.28. The stock closed at $8.32 at midday, down 4.48%, with a trading volume of 11.5876 million shares, involving $96.7698 million.
