Shiseido (4911.JP) has announced its financial results for 1-3FQ ended September 30, 2025. Its revenue decreased by 4% YoY to JPY693.817 billion, leading to an operating loss of JPY33.35 billion, compared to an operating profit of JPY2.183 billion in the same period last fiscal year.

The company's loss attributable to shareholders also reached JPY43.983 billion, compared to a profit of JPY754 million in the same period last fiscal year. Its EPS came in at JPY110.1.

Shiseido adjusted its guidance for the full fiscal year ended December 2025, lowering its full-year sales forecast by 3% to JPY965 billion. The full-year operating profit forecast was revised from the original JPY13.5 billion to a full-year operating loss of JPY42 billion. The net profit forecast was also reduced from the original JPY6 billion to a net loss of JPY52 billion.

Shiseido announced that it will implement a voluntary resignation program next month, involving around 200 positions.
