State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) raised its base case gold price forecast to US$3,700-4,100 per ounce (50% probability) and bull case scenario to US$4,100-4,500 per ounce (35% probability). In its view, the upper end of its bear case projection of US$3,300-3,700 per ounce (15% probability) represents a 'buy the dip' area based on gold chart technicals and a further flushing out of 'fear of missing out' (FOMO) flows following the September Fed meeting.
