The White House website announced that, following the U.S.-China trade consensus, a series of tariff rate adjustments on Chinese goods will be enforced, among which the ad valorem duty rate on small parcels will be axed from 120% to 54%.

While the specific duty of USD100 per mailed item containing goods will be retained, the planned increase to USD200 per item, set to take effect on June 1, has been canceled.
