<Research>CICC: SENSETIME's Foundation Model Benchmarked Against GPT-4 Turbo; Rev. Growth & Loss Reduction Expected

SENSETIME-W (00020.HK) recently updated its SenseNova foundation model version 5.0, re-upgrading the model capabilities and fully benchmarking itself against GPT-4 Turbo, CICC released a research report saying. In 2023, the Company's strategy focused on generative AI and the acceleration of commercialization and technological innovations. Moreover, the Company's fundamentals are expected to improve significantly this year, with revenue growth and loss reduction in the foreseeable future. CICC was optimistic about the improvement in profitability brought about by the strategic transformation of SENSETIME-W's business, and lowered its loss forecast for 2024 by 44.1% to a loss of RMB660 million. CICC introduced a revenue forecast of RMB5.4 billion for 2025, with an adjusted net loss forecast of RMB40 million. CICC kept its target price at $2, with rating at Outperform.
