CITIC RESOURCES Substantial Shareholder Sells 10%+ Stake; Trading Resumes Today
2026-06-29 08:45:42 CITIC RESOURCES (01205.HK) announced that the company has noted the recent unusual movements in the price and trading volume of the shares of the company. After making reasonable enquiries, the board confirmed that, save for the change in substantial shareholder, it is not aware of any reasons for such movements or any inside information that needs to be disclosed. The company was informed by substantial shareholder and non-executive director Chan Kin that TIHT Investment Holdings III Pte. Ltd. (TIHT), which is indirectly controlled by him, has entered into a conditional agreement to sell a total of nearly 787 million shares, representing approximately 10.01% of the company’s issued share capital, to an independent third party, TFI SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES FUND SPC. Upon completion of the proposed disposal, Chan will cease to have any interest in the shares of the company and will no longer be a substantial shareholder.
