The HSI opened at 25,482 this morning (3rd), up 171 points or 0.68%. The HSCEI opened at 8,513, up 63 points or 0.75%. The HSTECH opened at 4,549, up 32 points or 0.71%. Among dotcoms, TENCENT (00700.HK) and NTES (09999.HK) opened up more than 1%; BABA-W (09988.HK) added 0.55%; KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) dipped 0.65%. Spot gold held sturdy, with gold miners and other metal stocks thriving. ZIJIN GOLD INTL (02259.HK) and LINGBAO GOLD (03330.HK) soared more than 3%; ZIJIN MINING (02899.HK) gained 1.4%; ZHAOJIN MINING (01818.HK) hiked 1.09%; JIANGXI COPPER (00358.HK) and CMOC (03993.HK) climbed nearly 1%; CHALCO (02600.HK) jumped up 1.53%.
