Hit by Rising Costs and Parts Woes, CN Mobile Phone Brands Reportedly Axe 2026 Shipment Guidance; XIAOMI-W Said to Further Slash Guidance by 30% to 95M Units
2026-06-30 15:35:13 As soaring costs and parts shortages continue to severely impact the market, Chinese smartphone brands including XIAOMI-W (01810.HK), OPPO and vivo have axed their shipment targets for this year by as much as 30%, according to Nikkei Asia. XIAOMI-W proposed a mediocre full-year shipment forecast of 135 million units earlier this year, down from 170 million units last year, according to sources cited in the report. Its latest shipment outlook was further chopped by 30% to 95 million units, with severe component shortages and price hikes disrupting product roadmaps and shipment plans. Two sources familiar with the matter said XIAOMI-W informed some suppliers that it may further lower its shipment outlook if supply chain conditions do not improve. Sources said Oppo and vivo also lowered their forecasts to below 90 million units each. HONOR, which achieved a record shipment volume of 71 million units last year, told suppliers that it may not be able to maintain growth momentum this year. ~ AASTOCKS Financial News Website: www.aastocks.com | |
