YMTC Reportedly Aims Toppling Samsung and SK Hynix in Global NAND Flash Mkt

(YMTC), which is preparing for a listing in Mainland China, told investors that the company aims to topple Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix to become the world's largest NAND flash manufacturer, the Financial Times reported. Earlier, YMTC's STAR Market IPO application was accepted. The company plans to raise RMB33 billion. Its revenue for 1Q26 was RMB47 billion, while net profit reached RMB33 billion. Under regulatory guidance, YMTC's offering price may be relatively conservative, sources said. Market consensus values its IPO at between RMB200 billion and RMB300 billion.
