CN FM Says UK Has Long Politicized Cybersecurity Issues, Undermining Its Credibility in Global AI Security Governance Co-op
2026-11-04 16:27:04 The UK's National Cyber Security Centre under the Government Communications Headquarters released its annual cybersecurity report, stating that by 2028 China is "highly likely" to frequently use AI to carry out hacking operations. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said China is seriously concerned that the UK used speculative language to smear China without evidence. She said cybersecurity risks arising from AI are a common challenge faced by all countries and should be jointly addressed through the formulation of new international rules under the United Nations. Mao pointed out that it is regrettable that the UK has long politicized cybersecurity issues.
