CATL Delivers First Batch of 8-Hr ESS for Initial Deployment in GWh-scale Scenario
2026-11-04 12:27:49 CATL (03750.HK) recently delivered the first 5.64MWh EnerQB long-duration energy storage system (ESS) to globally renowned energy infrastructure investment firm Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners, according to The Paper. The equipment will be shipped to the Stanwell power station in central Queensland, Australia. The EnerQB long-duration ESS was developed based on the Tener long-duration ESS and was designed for Australia's series of 3GW/24GWh long-duration energy storage projects. Previously, CATL and Quinbrook had forged a cooperation agreement to develop a pipeline of Australian long-duration energy storage projects with a total scale of 3GW/24GWh. EnerQB will be gradually deployed across these projects.
