CN NRTA Seeks Public Opinion on Micro-Drama Development, Proposes Classified Distribution Licensing System
2026-06-24 16:26:23 China's National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) announced that, in order to further promote the prosperity of micro-dramas, expand new mass-oriented online literature and art, and foster the healthy development of micro-dramas, it drafted the "Administrative Measures for the Development of Micro-Dramas (Consultation Draft)" in accordance with relevant regulations. The consultation draft proposes that micro-dramas will be categorized into Class I, Class II and Class III based on criteria such as investment scale and subject matter. A classified system for filing, public disclosure and distribution licensing will be implemented.
