2026-07-31 12:11:27 Goldman Sachs issued a report on XIAOMI-W (01810.HK), which held an automotive technology launch event last night (30th), unveiling the new Xiaomi Auto technology platform "Xiaomi Kunlun Architecture" and launching the new vehicle series SKYNOMAD, priced at RMB259,900 and RMB299,900 respectively. The broker viewed the Kunlun platform can deliver large-scale, intelligent and fully configurable interiors, featuring a flat floor and long-track system, bringing new characteristics to the automotive industry. The native platform will become a key technological differentiator for SKYNOMAD, while the long-range support provided by the Xiaomi Kunlun super range extender is expected to attract traditional fuel vehicle consumers. In addition, Xiaomi's deep involvement in battery manufacturing indicates that the group is mastering core technologies rather than merely acting as a battery purchaser, according to Goldman Sachs. Goldman Sachs described the pre-sale pricing of the SKYNOMAD series as potentially disruptive to China's auto market, given its industry-leading interior space, range support and unique ecosystem integration. Goldman Sachs continued to forecast deliveries of the SKYNOMAD series at 110,000 units in 2026 and 240,000 units in 2027.
