BABA-W (09988.HK) jumped up 2.04%, while TENCENT (00700.HK) and NTES (09999.HK) sagged more than 2%. Recently, several companies conducted share placements after lock-up expirations. MINIMAX-W (00100.HK) launched a share placement and issued zero-coupon guaranteed convertible bonds to raise more than HKD16 billion in total, with its share price diving 9.68% for the day. KNOWLEDGE ATLAS (02513.HK) plunged 19.29% after conducting a share placement at a 13% discount, with net proceeds exceeding HKD31.37 billion. ILUVATAR COREX (09903.HK) raised more than HKD7 billion net through a placement at a 15% discount, sending its shares down 18.68%. GIGADEVICE (03986.HK) also slumped 21.05% as cornerstone investor lock-up shares will expire on July 13. Among blue chips, CATL (03750.HK) came under pressure and closed down nearly 8%, making it the worst-performing blue chip of the day. LENOVO GROUP (00992.HK) rose 1.83%. CKH HOLDINGS (00001.HK) was the best performer, climbing 7.53%.
