2026-07-09 12:27:18 After market close on Monday (6th), TENCENT (00700.HK) disposed of about 40% of its Class B shares in KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) (about 273 million shares held) through off-market block trades, involving a transaction amount of about USD1.5-1.55 billion, representing a discount of about 3-6% to Monday's closing price of HKD46, BOCI said in a report. Following completion of the transaction, TENCENT's stake in KUAISHOU-W will fall to about 9.4%, and it will no longer be a major shareholder of the company. For KUAISHOU-W, the broker believed the company's share price may experience volatility and pressure in the short term due to the transaction. However, Kling AI will continue to stand out in the market with its continuously upgraded model capabilities, overseas expansion and monetization capabilities.
