Japan has launched an anti-dumping investigation into key steel products imported from Mainland China, S Korea and Taiwan, escalating global trade tensions. Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Finance stated that the anti-dumping probe was initiated by multiple domestic steelmakers and will target imports of hot-rolled or cold-rolled coils, strips and plates.Japanese steel manufacturers filed the trade investigation application in February.
