Xu Jian, Chief Ecosystem Officer of the group, stated that the company hopes to expand from the automotive sector to broader applications, enabling spillover effects from the automotive "parent ecosystem".

D-Robotics has made it clear that it will not manufacture robot bodies. Instead, it is positioned as a provider of general-purpose software and hardware infrastructure for robotics, offering chips, algorithms and software development platforms for various types of robots.
