HORIZONROBOT-W (09660.HK)  -0.280 (-4.690%)    Short selling $277.40M; Ratio 24.631%   has demerged and established D-Robotics Company (literal translation of "地瓜機器人公司"), Chinese media reported. Xu Jian, Chief Ecosystem Officer of the group, stated that the company hopes to expand from the automotive sector to broader applications, enabling spillover effects from the automotive "parent ecosystem".

D-Robotics has made it clear that it will not manufacture robot bodies. Instead, it is positioned as a provider of general-purpose software and hardware infrastructure for robotics, offering chips, algorithms and software development platforms for various types of robots.
