Bloomberg, citing sources, reported that Nintendo (7974.JP) has asked its partners and suppliers to assemble about 20 million units of the Switch 2 console in the fiscal year starting in April, roughly 20% higher than its previously disclosed sales forecast.It is understood that Nintendos latest production plan has not yet been finalized and may be adjusted according to market demand. However, the current plan indicates that the company is confident that its upcoming game lineup will effectively boost sales of the Switch 2.Nintendos share price closed down 0.93% at JPY7,206 in the half-day session.
